Brecon Beacons Events Launch Party17th January 2009
On 17th Janaury 2009 at Ffrwdgrech House, I hosted a
Lunch for 93 guests to celebrate the official launch of Brecon Beacons Events, a long time dream of actually running my own venue. There was a mixture of clients, past, present and future brides and their prospective husbands, parents, suppliers and a few friends for much appreciated moral support! Having been in the catering trade for 20 years (click here to see how we celebrated that land mark) this is an entirely natural progression for me and my team of staff and suppliers. I will be offering a "One Stop Shop" service at Ffrwdgrech, where all that remains for Brides to do is her buy her dress and organise the flowers, stationary, cake, wine supplier (we do not charge corkage), entertainment and photographer, though we are very happy to make recommendations.
As you can see from the pictures below (taken by Steve Sutton) we Showcased the whole event, in a fully lined marquee, wooden floor, panoramic windows, so guests could enjoy the view of Pen-y-Fan on one side and the grounds on the other, heating and a 3 course lunch, sitting guests at 5' diameter round tables with ivory table linen, dark green runners and salmon pink napkins.
